Model Theory of Partial Differential Fields: from Commuting to Noncommuting Derivations

McGrail (2000) has shown the existence of a model completion for the universal theory of fields on which a finite number of commuting derivations act and, independently, Yaffe (2001) has shown the existence of a model completion for the univeral theory of fields on which a fixed Lie algebra acts as derivations. We show how to derive the second result from the first.

A Novel Screening Technique for Implementation of Intelligent Reservoir Technology

Throughout life cycle of oil production wells, it is imperative to have production optimization and real response time to rapid changes of well conditions and more understanding of subsurface otherwise it is the matter of expenditure losing. Smart well capabilities meet aforementioned issues. However there is a key concern in managers' mind that they have limited budget and several fields' docu...

A Probabilistic Model of Learning Fields in Islamic Economics and Finance

In this paper an epistemological model of learning fields of probabilistic events is formalized. It is used to explain resource allocation governed by pervasive complementarities as the sign of unity of knowledge. Such an episteme is induced epistemologically into interacting, integrating and evolutionary variables representing the problem at hand. The end result is the formalization of a p...

Topological differential fields

We consider first-order theories of topological fields admitting a modelcompletion and their expansion to differential fields (requiring no interaction between the derivation and the other primitives of the language). We give a criterion under which the expansion still admits a model-completion which we axiomatize. It generalizes previous results due to M. Singer for ordered differential fields...
